Hospital Bag Essentials
Congratulations on your upcoming new arrival! Preparing a hospital bag is a great way to make sure you're ready for your baby's arrival.
Heading over to our Instagram @made4babymade4kids to check out the lovely Cathy Myo packing her hospital bag for the arrival of her little one.
Our favorites for the hospital bag are:
- Foaming Hair and Body Wash
- Botty Barrier Creme (Fragrance Free)
- Hand Sanitiser (Alcohol Free; Tested and Approved)
Highly recommend this as a regular use barrier cream, especially when your newborn is in the frequent pooping stage! Stacey B.
Here are some essential items you should consider packing in your hospital bag:
For the baby:
- Newborn-sized clothes (onesies, socks, hats)
- Baby blankets
- Nappies
- Skincare (Fragrance Free - super gentle!)
- Swaddling blankets
- Car seat
For the Mamma:
- Comfortable clothes for labour and recovery (think loose-fitting, breathable clothing)
- Nursing bras and breast pads
- Maternity pads
- Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, body wash - can share Foaming Hair & Body Wash with bubs - face wash, moisturizer, lip balm)
- Snacks (granola bars, nuts, fruit, etc.)
- Water bottle
- Nursing pillow
- Cell phone and charger
- Camera
For the partner:
- Comfortable clothes
- Toiletries
- Snacks

Remember to pack your hospital bag well in advance of your due date, and don't forget to label your bag with your name and contact information. Good luck with your new baby!
